These were created on a day that I was not feeling too great. I wanted to create artworks that were quick and simple, but still looked nice. I created the galaxy effect by creating blocks of colour with water-based marker pens, and then using water to cause the ink to bleed. Then I splattered white gouache to create stars, and used a POSCA to add the moon and further (more intentionally placed) stars. Lastly, I used a grey marker to add the distant mountains, and a black marker to add the closer ones.
